Her spouse Yash Tonnk is a Television actor as well. They met on the set of ‘Kahin kissi Roz’ It’s there they they fell for each other and got married. Now they have two daughters together.She has done many shows namely ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ which was telecast on Life Ok, ‘Shakti’ on Colors Tv not only tv shows but have showed her talents in regional Marathi films ‘Asach Pahije Nav Nav’ & ‘Chavva’.
However, Gouri took a break from her career for her family and daughters but came back to the industry being even stronger in 2006. She is very well known by the realities shows as well, when she took part with her husband Yash Tonk in the popular dance competition television show Nach Baliye Season 2. The couple won hearts of judges and viewers alike and was declared runner up for the season 2, have been seen in ‘Maa Exchange’ which was aired on Sony Tv.

She is recently been shooting a shortfilm which has not been released yet, to explore her talent and showcase her acting skills. She believes that an individual should always keeping going despite the challenges that come her way. She is seen actively spreading positivity through her social media where her cheerful and energetic avatar is widely appreciated by her audience. She has been selective about her roles in tv projects during the pandemic keeping safety as a priority however, she is now open to the idea of taking up new roles provided it is something special and worthwhile.
